Job description:

- Review medical record documentation and accurately assign codes for the primary/secondary diagnoses and procedures

- Capture data with consideration for regulations and requirements to support medical necessity and reimbursement

- Query physicians when code assignments are not straightforward

- RHIT and/or CCS required

- At least 2 years of inpatient coding experience at an acute care facility required

- Stable facility position with paid holiday, PTO, retirement 401K match & more

- Onsite in central North Carolina for 90 days, then remote all but one day per month spent onsite

- Salary $56-78K- client historically hires to midpoint
